Photos can not capture the beauty
We swam ashore to explore
I returned with my camera to take these photos

From a ridge overlooking the anchorage
The dark areas are coral

Another part of this beautiful little island
A day of swimming, exploring, and napping
What a contrast from the Dominican Republic

A new benchmark for Caribbean Perfection

I used to think Barbuda was Caribbean Perfection, but Big Sand Cay (pronounced Key) sets a new standard; it is what one dreams of when they think of tropical paradise. The bottom is visible at 50 feet. The water is more pure and clear than a swimming pool. The bottom is pure white sand, rippled into small ridges due to the undulating water motion. There are no other persons; no boats, just us and this perfect beach and island. The only thing missing is our wives. Karen, Cindy, where are you?

We are told that there are many places like this in the Bahamas. We can't wait to find out. Tomorrow with head for Grand Turk, the capital of the Turks and Caicos, a British Overseas Territory like Bermuda.
