St. Martin to Luperon, DR
With great remorse our three month fantasy odyssey has come to an end. On Sunday, April 24, 2006, Karen Marie Kelly boarded a plane for her journey back to reality. Me, I am to continue on with a multitude of different crew to work my way home via the Virgin Islands, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Turks and Caicos, and Bahamas, hopefully arriving home before the first hurricane churns the Atlantic Ocean into a caldron of death. You can read about our return trip home at Voyages. While in the Marina Fort St. Louis in Marigot, St. Martin, I changed oil, replaced the fuel filters, and cleaned the raw water filters. From the photo you can see the amount of debris that is caught in the raw water filters. The water used to cool the engine passes through this filter.
After Karen left, Ray and did some hiking and got some nice vista photos.
