Eunice Josephine Wentworth Beams

1900 -

Eunice was the oldest child of Ernest and Mabel Wentworth. She was named after her mother's parents, Joseph and Eunice Jean. She was married twice. First to Robert Mitchell, then to Clyde Beams. She never had children and played a special role in the lives or her nieces and nephews. It was always special to spend time at Aunt Eunice's, especially at her cabin on Mission Lake in northern Minnesota, and when she died she left the cabin to her niece Betty Kelly. After Eunices' death in xxxx, the Kelly's moved a trailer to the land. The cabin was not suitable for winter living. In 1998, they tore the old cabin down and built a house on the old location.

Here are two photos of Eunice and Clyde feed chipmonks on the front porch of the old cabin. Eunice won a prize in Irish Sweepstake horse race with a prize of $2966. The year is unknown but must have been in the 50's.
